I had been waiting to have my Gallbladder removed on the NHS, I had given up and by the time I saw Mr Gavin Robertson I had enough, I found him to be open and honest about the operation and seen within the week of the first appointment, I can not fault him, he told me what would happen and followed up after the op, I have seen him twice since to ensure all ok and every time he listens and answers my concerns, I would recommend him and if I needed too I would see him again, but hopefully I won't need too.

Mr Robertson came highly recommended so I had no concerns about his clinical expertise and judgement. Excellent care from start to finish, nothing else to say.

I found out about Mr Robertson being a very experienced consultant when researching Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy on the internet. At the consultation he was very pleasant and had a relaxed manner making it very easy to discuss the questions that I needed answering. I decided to go ahead with the surgery and I left the consultation knowing what was going to happen and feeling very confident that Mr Robertson was going to perform the surgery.I also knew I would see him before surgery if I had any other questions. It was also reassuring to see him after the operation and before I was discharged the following morning and I also to have a follow up consultation three weeks later. The surgery went very well and I was amazed how quickly I recovered and I now feel like a totally different person. The treatment, care and advice I received was excellent and I am extremely grateful to Mr Robertson.

I was nervous, but Mr Robertson put all my fears at ease, he was extremely professional and calmed all my nerves. No question was too silly. On the day of the operation he explained again exactly what would happen. After surgery he visited me again to check on me and answer any questions I had. He then visited me the next morning on the Saturday to discharge me and ensure I was okay. I was fine after the operation, a little bit of discomfort but nothing as bad as I thought. I cannot recommend Mr Robertson highly enough.

His professional approach is second to none and has an excellent quality in describing the procedure and talking through any concerns you may have. Simply, i knew i was was in the best and safest hands possible. The operation was an absolute success and two weeks on everything has healed beautifully and I feel great.
